The Home Secretary Amber Rudd made it clear that work permit system has not been ruled out. Also, Britain may have to ask for permission to visit the EU countries after the Brexit.
Amber Rudd also agreed for the EU can also enforce their laws and restrictions on people travelling over to their country. This may result in the British people applying for a visa to visit any EU country.
She also said that Boris Johnson has no control over immigration but Theresa May takes full control over it, and for that note, any of the laws she has introduced must be followed.
The Government is looking to reduce immigration and the number of student using student visa to come over to the UK. Theresa May has also rejected the offer of allowing people to come over to the UK on the basis of their skills.
