There are proposals by the Government to double the Immigration Health Surcharge fee from £200 to £400 per year and £150 to £300 for Tier 4 and Tier 5 visas.
The skyrocketing increase will take the application fee for leave to remain cases from £1493 - (£993 application fee + IHS Fee £500) to £1993 and similarly increase the fee in all the categories.
